Shop Assistant Required

A Party Shop is a small family-run business providing party supplies ranging from fancy dress costumes and accessories to decorations, tableware and balloons. We aim to be a 'one-stop-shop' for customers planning a party - big or small.

You will be providing customers with an excellent customer service including suggesting party ideas, using the till and taking customer orders. You will also be inflating and arranging helium balloons.

Our position is ideal for you if you:
- are ready and able to work within a small team
- enjoy working with the public
- have a helpful and polite manner
- are confident
- have a smart appearance
- are good with numbers and able to use a cash till
- able to take direction, as well as able to show use your own initiative.

Experience within retail and party goods would be ideal, but not essential, as full training will be provided. At seasonal peaks, we expect flexibility with work patterns to cover our customers' needs. Due to the level of customer service required, and till work, we would prefer you to hold GCSEs in English Language and Maths at grade A-C (or the equivalent).

The position available is Part Time, 16 hours per week.
