A Hen’s Guide to A Tiki Theme Hen Party

If you or somebody you know is getting married and you’re looking for an original hen party theme, then you might want to consider holding a Tiki theme hen party.

Anybody who loves the sea side, or even just tropical holidays will be very pleased when you announce your chosen theme. Imagine, you could lay on some excellent props such as surf boards, tropical flowers, fresh fruit and fresh flowers. Everything that a modern day girl loves!

One of the best parts of the Tiki theme is the Tiki bar. So let’s play a few Beach Boy tunes and get down to some Tiki theme business.

How about some hula girls to get you started. You could head over to Etsy or Amazon to find something suitable in the stationary area or perhaps even make your own invitations with some creativity. You might want to use retro vintage surf or go the whole tropical flower route. Plenty of really beautiful images that would look stunning on an invitation. Think hibiscus, lily and orchids in addition to tropical fruits.

The opportunity to really do the place up. Check out these Hawaiian party decorations and you might want to supplement with some beautiful fabric creations to warm the place up. How about some cloth napkins with tropical colours. Alternatively you could use fruit to create some table centrepieces. How about the bodies of 5 pineapples stacked on top of each other to create a palm tree that is topped off by the leaves of the pineapples. Beneath this, piles of beautiful colourful tropical fruit.

Tiki torches

No tiki bar would be complete without some tiki torches, palm fronds and some beautiful lush tropical flowers. If you’re lucky enough to have a swimming pool at the centre of the party, be sure to add some beautiful silk flowers to the venue. Cocktail umbrellas are a lot of fun and its possible to buy them in bulk and then use them for some truly eye catching art work.

Have the best fun at your tiki theme party and let us know how you got on.
